With the help of FarmWorks/Friends of Agriculture NS and 7Arts I organized an Art Show called From Farm to Tableau show that happened on Wednesday, May 22nd. This passion project was a wonderful pairing of NS artists with NS food providers. The results were some spectacular pieces of art and new friendships. From Farm to Tableau was an art display and silent auction that happened during Friends of Agriculture NS annual May Flavours dinner. One of my food & beverage providers for this project was Lunn's Mill Beer Co. In 2017 my friend Chantelle Webb and her partners set up shop in the old Carleton Roads building in Lawrencetown (Valley). Since then they have been brewing their own beers (7 core beers and many seasonal brews) cooking delicious food and holding a variety of events. They offer a delivery service for their products 3 days a week and their beer can be found in many restaurants and at the NSLC. When my husband and I had Pascalice's Bistro we always made sure to stock up on our Lunn's Mill as it was and is and fan favorite. Lunn's opens their doors to everyone and has a great sense of community. This is what I wanted to portray in my piece, It's not the Label, it's what's inside. Acyrlic.
